Really worried

My teenage son and I have tested + today. I've had my first vac and so far feeling fine, DS is feeling a bit ropey but doing ok,

I've got an 11 week baby who was born 6 weeks premature- he's always attached to me and I'm so so worried that he has covid. He's been coughing, feels warm to the touch but doesn't have a temp. He's literally slept all day which isn't usual and has been going longer between bottles- but still drinking them fine. Do I need to do anything ie ring 111... although I've never found them particularly useful previously! I'm so worried. Any advice would be so appreciated.

I've had an 8.5 week preemie and whilst I'm sure your little one will be fine, I'd give 111 a call just because of his age. Hope all's well and I'm sure it will be. X

I would seek medical advice and get him tested if it's possible to test babies that small.

Thanks only just seen the replies. I did call 111 and we went to be checked out at hospital. Thankfully he was all ok. Just very sleepy, he's still sleeping a lot but is at least feeding regularly now. So scary when they're only tiny.

Glad he's ok OP! I think it's aways best to get preemies checked out when they're still tiny, even when they're likely just fine. In my experience Drs are always only too happy to check out the tiniest of patients - they told me you can never be too careful with preemies.

@namechangeandNC yes they were very helpful, I did apologise for wasting their time and they said they would much rather we came in to get checked. Turns out he does have covid too but I'm keeping my fingers crossed Sat was the worst day, as he seems to have perked up since. X
