Covid test for just 1 GI symptom?

Ds is 8 and on Tuesday had 2 or 3 episodes of vomiting over a few hours. He was back to normal self with full appetite and energy within an hour or last episode. He got sick again once this morning and again is back to himself. No other symptoms, temp, cough, headache, runny nose, sneezing etc. Would you get him tested?

Yes, as that’s the only symptom my nephew had. Off food and sick. Only lasted 24 hrs. He is a little younger (6 years old)
I’d test because I would want to know.

I've been hearing about lots of kids vomiting recently and there have been big norovirus outbreaks locally, but I'm not sure how many are testing and it can also be a covid symptom. I would get a home PCR test as you need to stay home 48 hrs after D&V anyway, then at least you know.
