Hot flushes after covid. Anyone else?

I tested positive for covid 16 days ago. I was pretty unwell for around 10 days. My taste and smell still haven’t returned and I’m still pretty shattered. These were all things I expected to happen but…one very and annoying thing that has remained is hot flushes..I am literally boiling and sweating, much as I imagine you are in the menopause.
It’s keeping me awake and making me fairly miserable. My whole body sweats…I’m not a sweaty person normally! In fact, I’m really quite cold.
Is this just me?
Have I reached the age? I’m 40!

Not Covid but I have had similar after flu when I had a temperature for several days, when I was recovering I was sweating a lot and feeling hot, has your temperature been high.

I thought I had a temperature when I was in the 10 days isolation but when I tested it was 35.8…I’m always cold so this is normal for me. I feel ridiculously hot and am sweating.

I tested positive 12 days ago and I keep getting hot sweats! I'm 28 so I doubt it's the menopause for me 😳 my sister who tested positive 3 weeks ago is also having hot sweats and she is 24. The tiredness is extreme too! Not a nice virus at all.

@pixietinsle5 you’ve made me feel a lot better…not that you are suffering of course but they it’s not just me!
It really is the strangest virus ever!
