3/4 day trip to Paris - Thursday to Sunday - where to get tested in central Paris?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can help, as I seem unable to find the answer on Google.

Going by Eurostar to Paris for the weekend, arriving on a Thursday and returning Sunday.

We are both fully vaccinated - so no test needed to go out.

To return we need to be tested on the Friday in Paris - can anyone tell me where we can get tested in central Paris for a covid travel test?

We will then have to do the return test on the Monday once we are home, and we can order this test before we leave so its there for us returning.

Have a look on doctolib.fr or sante.fr

You can book antigen tests somewhere local to you.

Can't you not just order some of those antigen tests that you self-administer (take them with you out)? There are quite a few on the market - you swab and as a LTF/antigen test, you get the results (same as pregnancy test) and then take a pic and upload for your certificate.

@MiddleAgedLurker

Yes you can book day 2 test etc before you leave. There's a link to list of providers on a few sites eg. UK govt and British Airways I think. You need to do this in fact, as the passenger locator form that you have to fill in online before you return asks for the booking details
I’d think (though not sure) that the Op is referring to the pre-travel test required by HMG prior to travel to the UK, not the post arrival day 2 test.

The previously mentioned doctolib or sante.fr websites should work, it might almost be possible to do a walk in at a Pharmacie if there is one handy.

I walked into a pharmacy and got one with the results coming in 20min. Some are walk in, some may ask you to make an appointment. It's very easy !

Oh that’s given me more confidence …. I didn’t realise that you could just walk into a pharmacy and get them done

Thanks all

@2022FastForwardPlease

Don't rely on just being able to walk in. That was certainly the case a couple of weeks ago but there is a much higher demand now (much to the bewilderment of the pharmacies who think it is bonkers that double vaccinated people need a test!).

Any pharmacy, any lab, any street testing centre (e.g. Champs-Elysées, Opéra). Labs and most pharmacies closed Sundays in August.
