Can a 12yr old girl travel to Spain (with her family)? She had Covid 30 days ago so pcr may still read as positive (and not meant to for 90 days) and Spain don't accept nhs Covid positive pass thingy?

Think you're less likely to test positive with a LFT after covid. Does Spain accept LFTs?

whilst some test positive for 90 days, most don't - know loads who were negative within 10 days so best getting her a pcr and seeing how it goes

Spain does not accept a recovery certificate from British travellers (does accept EU, but since Brexit we aren’t). If you check it does state that. So if she tests positive you’ll be staying 10 more days

Also don’t do another PCR to check as if it’s positive your 10 days starts again (so only do that if content to isolate)

Sorry realise your mean do a PCR to get into Spain, so you’ll have to do one. Least if positive you’re not stranded overseas and can rebook. On the way back you can do a lateral flow.

My friend had this issue. Her son did have to take a PCR, they were worried about it still being positive as you say, but luckily it was negative.

We have all just done PCRs for travel 4 of us tested negative about 5 weeks after a positive têst
