Uncertainty and what to do

When the government cancelled restrictions in July I thought that things would get back to 'normal'. Most people I know still won't meet up, it's not just me they do it to others too. Others are still anxious and scared of the virus. I do wear a mask in the shops still. I went back to my old walking groups and they're lucky to get 10 people come on a walk whereas before it was 70. I don't know if it is because of holidays or people are still cautious. I'm starting to feel a bit reclusive and would like interaction with other people. What are the best ways I can meet people to interact with? I'm thinking now this is going to carry on till next year where people are still staying in.

There is not a lot you can do about the anxieties of other people. I would suggest having a good look at what other groups there are in your area. Even something like litter picking groups might be ideal as a chance to meet people and do something good at the same time.
