When to get a PCR test?

I know there are quite a lot of threads on here about people getting mild symptoms which could be covid but they are not on the list to be tested for covid by PCR and a lot of people testing negative on LFT's with these symptoms.

That's me now. Been extremely fatigued since Tuesday. Thought it maybe as had overdone it on Monday, but it's lingering, and have slight sore throat and headaches come and go. Negative LFT tests.Don't know if to 'lie' and get a test. Although I have told the 'ZOE app' my symptoms and wondering if will be asked to test.

My husband unusually was very fatigued last week and has been sneezing a lot. It's all so confusing now. We both doubled jabbed but t two teenagers one more vulnerable.

Wondered how many people getting PCR tests if low grade symptoms persisting?

Definitely get a test. Just say you have symptoms. I had no symptoms and a positive LFT and PCR. Better to know. I am now getting negative LFT’s since!

Sounds like you had it and are probably recovered now tbh but yes get a PCR.

They sound exactly like my symptoms and so many other peoples.

The Zoe app will probably ask you to test - it asks me to test if I put any symptoms at all into the report. Even if only for your own peace of mind, book a test.

Thank you for your replies. I'll book a test. x
