How long for symptoms to show...for Delta?

DH was exposed at work on Monday afternoon for a few hours in an enclosed space. Anyone know approximately what the average is for symptoms showing with Delta? He is isolating obviously. Looking for others' experiences please?

For me about 5 days, but my DD did not get symptoms at all (she was the first to test positive)

Yeah I have read 5 days elsewhere. I was thinking of sending him for a PCR test after 5-6 days (obviously if he has symptoms it's a no brainer) but even if he doesn't have them...he is isolating away from us you see so wondering when he can be freed again back into the main living spaces!

We think teen Dd was 2 days. Exposure on Sunday at a World Cup party.... started with a sore throat on Tuesday, but tested negative on LFT until Friday.
