Pfizer 2nd dose after being infected

Hi

Has anyone on here tested positive and then subsequently had two doses of Pfizer?

I have read that the side effects for Pfizer are often worse following the 2nd dose, but also that those who have tested positive previously have a stronger reaction to dose 1. There wondering if the effects of dose 2 might be slightly easier for those previously infected, but cant find anything online about this either way.

For info - I was infected in the first wave and then had dose 1 of Pfizer in June. I felt a bit ropey for a few days but nothing major. Second dose is coming up and just wondering if I should consider booking a few days off work

I had covid in March, had my first Pfizer jab at the beginning of June and second on Tuesday. Had a slightly achy arm and was a bit tired after both but otherwise fine.
It affects everyone really differently. DH had covid at the same time as me and was really sweaty with pins and needles in his arms after his first AZ jab.

Not exactly, I had jab 1, covid, then jab 2 - no side effects after jab 2 except a sore arm, if anything I was a bit tired/off for a day after jab 1 but covid definitely did not cause side effects for me.

Following this OP. I’m in the same situation as you. Had COVID December early Jan. I have had long COVID despite being fit and healthy and 27 on my side and just got better. First Pfizer in June and had headaches for weeks following but feeling a bit rough for around 4 days. I’m dreading the second so much I rescheduled my appointment the other day. I’m scared out of my mind after seeing stories online but I don’t want to get COVID again. I have a 10 month old too who doesn’t sit still so would be horrid. Keen to see what others say. It seems to affect younger people more I think? (The jab that is)

I had Covid in between first and second jab. Barely any symptoms either jab - maybe very slightly tired/dizzy after second one, but kids have only been in nursery two weeks out of the past six, so it could just be that!

I had covid in January. Was very tired after my second jab for a couple of days. Still went to work, but would have loved to have been in a position to have it off.

@SpringheelJack can I ask how you felt having COVID after one jab pls?

In case anyone is interested, my 2nd dose was over a week ago and I had next to no symptoms this time around

DS had Covid the Pfizer. He is as unwell after dose 1 for 24 hours, then nothing at all after dose 2.

then

Some countries only require a single dose of an mRNA vaccine after infection to be considered ‘fully vaccinated’.
