Hi. My son causing covid in the last week of school. We are so lucky that this is the 1st time we have had to do this due to a positive case in the house. We are due to come out of isolation on Friday. I know deep down I'm being daft but I just feel incredibly anxious about it. Like we could be putting others in danger. We are a family of 5 and son was the only one to get it. I also feel anxious about one of us getting it and having to isolate again. We have been doing lateral flow tests every other day and dh and I are both double jabbed. I just can't shake this feeling of anxiety. What's wrong with me?!

I would be anxious too, but given that you are virtually at the end of isolation without anyone else catching covid, you’ve done really well. If you are not ready to go out, leave it a couple more days, or just start with a nice long walk.

I felt like this when dd1 was positive. Not about passing it on to anyone else just the thought of leaving the house. I was fine as soon as I left the house.
