Dizziness/vertigo like symptom help

I'm Day 18 post positive test, double vaccinated. I'm really struggling with lightheadedness/vertigo like symptoms and wondered if anyone had found anything that helped. It comes and goes and I thought was getting better but has come back hard today. Im supposed to be going away tomorrow and not looking forward to the drive.

I think w lingering symptoms like this the only thing that really helps is time. Sorry.

I had vertigo and the only thing that helped was an antihistamine like in hayfever tablets or, better still, a child's travel sickness tablet. Mine wasn't covid related though. Hope you're feeling better soon, the dizziness and nausea was one of the worst feelings I've ever had.

This may be just a coincidence. It sounds as though it might be Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Try ringing your GP in the morning, and they could give you medication for that which can help.

I’m really prone to dizziness, I have low blood pressure & I get fits of the room spinning round for a few hours 😷 it’s hideous. However, travel sickness tablets are brilliant for it. Stugeron is the brand I use, they are for adults & children. The dizziness goes completely but I do sometimes still feel kinda light headed but not unbearably so.

As an above poster, might be worth your GP checking your ears. Viral illness can cause disturbance in your ears, might be something they can help with!
