Where’s the data re testing positive for up to 3 months post infection? What’s the probability after a week, 2 weeks etc?

Only data I can find is in this article from Forbes magazine. This says 16% still testing positive after 24 days and only mentions PCRs not LFTs. Yet school kids weren’t being tested 3 months post infection. So LFTs must still be an issue. But how much of an issue? is there any more data?

There happens to be a bit of info in this LFD report that was just posted on the Data thread. It suggests that most infections fully clear after 6 weeks.

Test, Track and Trace have told us NOT to do a PCR test for 3 months after our +ve test results. Another +ve result restarts isolation (and I am already stuck at home for a fortnight)!

Apparently we present the email/text notifying us of the result instead of a test (not convinced that this would work if we were abroad, but we're staying put). They didn't seem to think that it would get integrated into the Covid Pass (but I might have a look to see whether it gets onto our GP records).

Thank you MRex - a 6 week holiday extension is pretty significant.

Covid tests do show on your GP records - I can see mine on the Patient app.
