My sons nursery is very quick to request pcr tests. He has had 4 pcr tests done in the last month! Last monday he coughed a couple of times and they said they were monitoring it. So, sensing they would ask again, I ordered a home test. They didnt ask so we havent done the test.
My question is, can we keep the test incase they ask in the future or do we need to chuck it and order again if necessary?

Keep it, then when you need to do another pot an order in so you have a freshly emailed order code. As soon as you have that order code, do the test that you have in the house and post it off. When the replacement test arrives just store it until needed, then repeat the process.

Ah ok, so it isnt already linked to my email? That makes sense.

No, it only links up to the email when you register that you're taking it. You have to enter the email order code, the test bar code and the total mail tracking code. That's the only point at which they get tied together. I've done this since last year when tests were like hens teeth and I ended up running out of isolation time before I was able to lay my hands on a test, never had any problems getting my results back. Saves a day or so on the delivery time, too.

Thats great, thank you so much! Anything to get the negative result quicker. He has been out of nursery so much waiting for results that his routine is all messed up. He's just a toddler who gets colds easily!
