LFT tests - 'Sorry, you cannot report the result right now...'

'...We cannot confirm this report is genuine.' With further information to call 119 etc etc.

This is on the gov.uk site. The same one I've always reported my LFT tests on with no issues. I take LFTs regularly and I didn't do anything different today!

What on earth has happened? Has anyone else had this?

I've never had any issues before today, I've never seen this message before.

Happens quite frequently, I find.

Sometimes I persevere and sometimes I give up and just report to school (teacher).

Thanks, at least it's not just me. Not sure how I've got this far without seeing it before if that's the case!

Happened to me a few weeks ago. I just reported it by phone. It happened again a few days later but was fine when I tried again about an hour or so later.

It will just be a glitch. It happens all the time with websites. It is no different to the error message you may see if mumsnet goes down briefly. It can be caused by too much traffic to the site, an update happening in the background or 100 other reasons.

It wouldn't even register on my radar as being noteworthy. I would just try again later or not bother reporting that one unless it was specifically needed for proof with an employer etc.

I had that message for most of Wednesday morning until about 3pm.

Starlightstarbright1 · 31/07/2021 17:28

I have stopped reporting. I would report a positive.

blackcurrantqueen · 31/07/2021 17:31

I had this message registering a home test earlier and then went back a screen resubmitted and it was fine !

YippeeKiYay155 · 31/07/2021 17:46

I had this recently when I tried to register a PCR test. Ended up having to ring 1.9 which was a bloody nightmare as the line was bad and I have to give all info several times, spelt phonetically.

YippeeKiYay155 · 31/07/2021 17:46

119 not 1.9 🙄

MulberrySquash · 31/07/2021 19:40

Had a similar message when trying to register a pcr. Just had to re-register that particular test.

clickychicky · 31/07/2021 20:21

I had one with a PCR and had to go through the whole thing again by phone. It was really annoying.
