Vaccine post C-Section

I will ask my consultant however I just wondered if anyone here has been advised on when to take the covid vaccination post C-Section? I know clotting is an issue post C-Section and I wondered if there was a timeframe to avoid getting the vaccine. Many thanks

Have you had your C section?
Because if not you would be better having the vaccine asap.

I had my first vaccine a month after my c section, I assumed that after the 10 days of blood thinning injections the risk lowers but didn't ask any health professional. Would be interesting to know if there is any advice on it 😊

I'm also interested in this, I had my section 12 days ago and would like to get the vaccine ASAP but am on 6 weeks off blood thinners.

I haven't actually seen anyone to ask about the vaccine and when is best to get it.

I can’t find any advice online on this plus my midwife couldn’t really answer when was best. I have my consultant appt next week so hope to get a clear answer.

It's not the same sort of clotting problem.
