Just wondered how an unvaccinated person can be classed as a vaccinated person???

Can anyone explain this?

They are treating children under 18 the same as vaccinated people for travel purposes too. Being vaccinated doesn't stop you catching it though, it minimises the risk. They are putting pressure on those who are eligible for vaccine but haven't chosen to. Trials are important, they will no volunteers if they have fewer rights than those vaccinated.

For the purposes of medical trials of a vaccine it makes sense. Make sure both the trial cohort and the control cohort behave in the same way.

The use of a placebo is only during trials, what is being administered in the vaccination programme is actual vaccine.

the people on that trial were given the real jab in the end, so everyone at the end of that trial was vaccinated.

He was answering a question about people who had been part of a trial not being considered vaccinated by the NHS because they were given the vaccine as part of a trial and not by the NHS. People who have been give it abroad have the same issue.

It has been taken completly out of context.

So trial participants are basically exempt from proving their vaccination status essentially?

Given vaccines are the strongest tool we have access to I think it’s acceptable to exempt this very small percentage of the population. Like @CeeceeBloomingdale we need people to volunteer for these trials and it’s a step too far to ask them to give up the opportunity to have an official vaccine along with any freedoms that might afford them.

There should be exemptions anyway for those who will never be able to have a vaccination for medical reasons even if they wanted one.

How did I miss that was Gillian-bought her-degree-online-McKeith.

The woman has no shame peddling the bullshit she currently is despite being very publicly exposed as masquerading as a doctor. Awful hypocritical woman.

theres the whole thing.

they don't need an exemption. The peoe on the novavax trial were all fully vaccinated. What they need is for it to be recognised by the NHS.
