Hi All

Does this look like a positive test. It has been left on the side for a few hours, the red liquid looks like it has smudged a bit. It looked negative at the time but now I'm unsure.

It looks less positive when the picture is blown up.

I don't see a line at all sorry x

I think these are like pregnancy tests and they say not to read them after the allotted time due to the risk of a false reading so i would think it is negative
If you are unsure though, get a PCR

I think you should just redo the test, it just looks like it has been left too long and the colour has bled

Do another in the morning before you eat or drink anything.

Can you do another one?

If you have symptoms I'd go straight for a PCR

We'll do another one first thing tomorrow as suggested. Typically we are due to go on holiday tomorrow so this is the last thing we need.

Found out daughter has boxes of these things from school and was doing them twice daily to make sure she was not infected. Out of 10 tests this week this is the first one like this.

Mine have been looking like that lately if checked well after the 30mins - they are definitely negative at 30mins so I'm going with that for now. That said I am starting to feel like I'm getting a cold so if I develop more definite symptoms I will get a PCR to be safe.

It says clearly in the instructions not to read them after 30 mins so if tehse are several hours old it is pointless asking as we don't know what it looked like when it was at the correct point to be read.
