Cough only symptom

Hi all. My husband has recently recovered from a cough with very few other symptoms, apart from feeling tired for a few says. Has anyone else had these symptoms and tested positive? We didn't bother testing as we were staying at home anyway and hadn't been in touch with anyone else......

Yes, we did. Did lateral flows - negative. We were isolating anyway as dd off from school. One lateral flow which dh forgot to put in bin showed faint line hours later so we did pcrs - all positive. I had no symptoms, dd had mild cough as did dh.

I suspect many have just isolated for 10 days and not bothered to get tested. But if you are sure you’ve not been in contact with anyone either inside or outside, no shopping, no deliveries etc, then your DH probably didn’t have covid.
