Infection rates falling in the north east

At last

Worth mentioning because rates have been the highest in the country here for weeks now, so it does seem to bode well that they're finally coming down.

Before the usual suspects pile on to wang on about freedom day and lag and whatnot - yes, I'm fully aware this could change. But for now, it's good news and suggests that perhaps things might be heading in the right direction. Especially taking into account the packed pubs and 'fan zones' we had here for the football, and the increased mixing thanks to the good weather.

thank God

Thats looking promising. Seems to be following the same pattern seen elsewhere - a big but brief spike followed by a natural fall.

Yep. Just told my DH. It’s on its way down. Now of course I am aware of freedom day altho seems everyone is isolating in the United Pingdom according to the media so we should be fine Grin

Bollocks, I missed the bit where it says that's a 13% drop on pings on the previous week. Try again!
