Hi all

Currently suffering from confirmed Covid. Coughing, feeling ill, knackered, congested feeling head.

Despite resting, taking vitamins and drinking a lot I feel more ill every day. Currently on day 6.

Please help me get better with whatever advice you have!

Best advice I have is keep doing what you are doing and be patient I'm afraid. It was day 8 before I woke up and felt a little bit better. Hopefully you will start to improve soon. Sorry you're poorly! Thanks

(Also, in my case, I steadily improved from that point on and was totally back to 'normal' after a further week, if that's reassuring at all.)

Just rest. It took me 3 weeks to be able to function enough to wfh and do basic household stuff. 3 months to get back to being as active as I was pre-Covid.

7 months on and I'd also like the solution please! Sorry, probably not what you want to hear.

I've been up and down, felt better last weekend than I did yesterday, but woke up feeling fine again today (day 10) so it's been a bit random for me.

All you can do is keep doing what you are doing, sorry Flowers

It is a really nasty virus and for some people it takes a while. The most important advice of all is DO NOT RUSH.

Your partner should try to take the bulk of childcare wherever he can, as mothers often find it hard to rest due to children.

I’ve been double jabbed with Pfizer- I can’t imagine how ill I would be without that.
Unfortunately my husband has it too. Ds is getting better and is therefore pestering us to play with him. Argh!

No useful tips for you I'm afraid, but I hope you start to improve soon. It's threads like this that make me seriously concerned about the government's Let's open everything up and be done with it strategy.
