LFTs are for no symptoms.

Go online and book a PCR. you will be able to get a slot for first thing in the morning. You will likely have the results back by 9am Saturday.

In the meantime, the household must isolate.

Have a taste/smell of other things to check and book yourself a pcr if you can’t taste them either. Good luck

I would try tasting something else just to make sure it's not the wine that's the issue. But if anything else tastes strange, book a PCR test and isolate until you get the result.

Thanks had some haribo there & taste OK, booked in for pcr, hubby off anyway tomo & will keep dc off the road until the results.. Just a wierd numb sensation in my mouth now...

Try a few different things? I haven't had covid but read here that some things tasted normalish, some suddenly horrible and some gone completely. Good excuse for a covid platter to go with the wine??

Can you taste garlic? I tried tasting a few things and while I could feel.they was bitter or sweet or chemically, it was more sensation than taste.

I don't think its covid, I think you are the opposite of Jesus and have performed an unmiracle

Are you recently vaccinated? It happened to me after Pfizer - once I could not feel the taste of an onion, another time a beer had no taste at all. But these were isolated incidents. So try again tomorrow, or try different things.
