Lateral flow question

Hi

I woke up with a mild cough today so did a lateral flow.

I was found something and then came back to the rest after about 5 minutes ( I know your mean to wait 30)

And there was a obvious positive line.

It’s not disappeared and has gone to negative.. what’s that all about ?!

If you have symptoms, do a PCR test.

Why did you do LFT if you have a cough?

If there was a line then that's a positive. Go and get a PCR test.

LFT are not for people who have symptoms, you need to book a PCR test and isolate as well as any family members.

Meant to say it’s now disappeared and shows a clear negative. I did a LFT as I had them in the house. But I will go and get a A PCR

At 30 mins was it positive or negative?

If you looked soon after doing it, it could have been where the liquid was traveling up the test, but you should get a PCR anyway

Negative at 30 mins but was shocked that there was a clear second line there after 5 mins but I thought as well that it could be it travelling up

Going for a PCR anyways
