Just found out I shared an office yesterday, and the day before, with a person who got a positive test result today.
Work day keep going in, no need to isolate.
My app hasn’t pinged.
What am I officially supposed to do now the rules have changed ?

The rules haven't changed yet, not till August. If you were a close contact, rather than just shared an office, you should isolate.

Does the person who tested positive have the app? As your app won't ping unless they have the app too.

The NHS guidance is that if you haven't been called by T&T after being in close contact then you should carry on as normal, being careful to social distance. So although your employers could be a bit more careful about it, I think they're correct that you can keep going to work. However the person who is positive should now be contacted themselves and give their workplace and close contact details so you will probably get a call eventually.

Were you in close contact with them - less than 2m for more than 15 minutes? I think that's the guidance on whether you have to isolate, that's what my work are doing.

Legally you don’t have to isolate unless you are contacted by test and trace. You can carry on as normal. I’d be super careful about social distancing/who you are interacting with for the next ten days though.

No they would phone you or email you. App data is anonymous. If your phones were close enough for long enough (assuming you both had contact tracing turned on in the app) you’d get an alert but not otherwise.
