When do you start 10 days from

My little girl has been ill since Saturday (sick, rash, off her food, sleepy) but the cough didn't start until yesterday so we didn't test until then. It came back positive. Does isolation start from yesterday or Saturday? (No contact from test and trace yet so not been able to ask)

Ten days starting the day after symptoms began, so Tuesday is the last day.

I started the count from when I had symptoms. I also used the nhs guidelines about temperature after the 10 days as I was still ill.

That was a quick result. I am still waiting. Good luck with isolation and getting better.

Ah sorry to hear that, ours was back in under 24h. Hope it's not too much longer
