I am one of the potential 5 million that's had this vaccine, as evidenced by the batch number on my vaccination card. I have flights booked to France next year - already been changed twice - and am worried I won't be allowed in. Any reassurance, anyone?

Long time to worry about something no one can possibly know the answer to.

Acrasia · 21/07/2021 08:36

There is some evidence emerging that the vaccines are only effective for six months anyway, so if your flights are for next year, you’ll probably have had a booster by then, so what you’ve had now doesn’t matter.

My DH is the same as well as a friend (that was one BIG batch!).

In any event the govt is denying and saying they were made by someone else and are "on it" apparently.

No one can tell you what's going to happen with a holiday next year, they can barely tell you about one next month Shock

In the nicest possible way, are you short on things to worry about? Smile

My husband had one of those. Have flown with no issue whatsoever to Greece

France recognised the Covishield version of the AstraZeneca vaccine a few days ago - Times of India;

Thank you @Clavinova.

I’m sure the Indian MSM have got it right but FWIW more local confirmation here:

I have one of those batches and had no problems getting into France last Friday.
