Isolation notice timing

I’ve just received a notice via the app telling me to isolate for 6 days, the strange thing is that it came through with the notification saying that restrictions had been lifted in my area - could it be a glitch?

As it’s 6 days, this means the contact was 4 days ago? Or is my understanding skewed?

4 days ago I was at work and nobody has tested positive there since. I haven’t been inside anywhere else since either!

Isolation rules haven’t changed unless you are NHS. Also contact isn’t always inside, I know someone had to isolate as they were playing golf with someone.

I actually checked the contact date & realised I’d been inside a pub. For less than 2 min and the only other person in there was the bar man.

Who knows.
