Can you have the astrazeneca vaccine while taking acyclovir for shingles?

This is an antiviral.

I would give your local pharmacy a ring. Pharmacists are excellent at identifying and advising on drug interactions.

Pharmacist here, there’s no interaction between aciclovir and the vaccine but as you’ve got shingles you’ll be run down and unlikely the vaccine centre would vaccinate you until you’re better. Your immune system will be working hard enough already to fight the shingles.
