Yea so our kids are isolating, and those in Gov aren’t. Fabulous.

Haha!

Pinged by the app and in a pilot scheme, the same pilot scheme I wasn’t eligible for last month.

I don’t isolate my ds when he’s sent home anyway & definitely wouldn’t be starting now.

Busybee5000 · 18/07/2021 09:37

Very wrong message to show, today of all days when tomorrow is inevitably going to lead to even more pings. I get they are doing a special scheme but still doesn’t change the message.

Three words - taking the piss!

Disgusting. My 5 year old is having to miss his last week of foundation - so his first year at school when he’s already missed so much anyway because a member of the class has tested positive, but it’s ok for Boris to carry on regardless as it’s a “special scheme”.

It’s a real slap in the face!

Many places are eligible for this pilot scheme (including some schools)

For those ignoring isolation are you testing your child daily?

NiceTwin · 18/07/2021 10:28

My dd tested daily and didn't isolate the week after half term.
It's not that new a thing.

He’s reversed his decision! Another Uturn

DH begged test and trace to be allowed on the scheme - hes on back to back isolations - was 12 hrs off getting out from close contact when DS got covid. Apparently the person on the phone didnt know anything about it.
