If someone you saw last Sunday had a positive test on Friday, should you be self isolating? No contact from t&t.

Thank you!

No, as based on what you're saying, you did not see them in the 48 hours before they developed symptoms...

Not sure if it’s an official guideline but my kids school says if you see them 48 hours before their symptoms then you don’t have to isolate. So based on that I think no.

It depends when persons symptoms started.

If you are a close contact in the 48 hours before symptoms started then you should self isolate.

Great, thank you 👍🏻

If their symptoms started on Monday or Tuesday then you'd need to isolate.

If their symptoms started on Monday or Tuesday then you'd need to isolate

And that's any symptoms they've created to get the start date set earlier too.

But of course you only need to isolate if contacted by the legal authority for deciding, you do not need to decide yourself.
