DD started showing symptoms last Saturday and had positive PCR. She's tested positive this morning on LFT. Just wondering how long it took other people.

You can test positive for up to 90 days after a positive PCR test so you arent supposed to retest for that amount of time

I've been told that for PCR but not for LFT? How are we meant to know when she's not infectious?

Once they have done their 10 day isolation and dont have a temperature and feel well then they are considered ok to mix with others again

You have to isolate for the 10 days to be sure she's not infectious. You can test positive on any test up to 90 days after.

And from when symptoms started that takes you to Wednesday 21st as the day she can go out again

Thank you. I've just taken her temperature and it's back to normal so that's good anyway.
