Dd positive pcr

So my dd age 13 had just tested positive on pcr , test done yesterday. She broke up from school yesterday and I have informed the school and she has told her friends. How quickly do test and trace get in touch with you ?

when it was dd1 it was very quickly as in within hours. But cases were a lot lower then.

It seems to be taking longer now.

Both of my kids have tested positive over the last two weeks and each day I got a call the day after we got the test result which I was quite impressed with.
