Data on mask exemptions

Is there any data available to say how many people are thought to be exempt from wearing a mask? It's probably impossible to know an actual figure but balllpark?

I've seen loads of sunflower lanyards on my train journeys today so far but that's hidden disabilities rather than just exempt although there's a crossover.

Just curious to know.

I looked in the early days and couldn't find anything. The government has done nothing to identify or support the exempt group, so I doubt there will be much official data on the subject (although it could be modelled, with access to anonymised NHS data).

There won't be much record of it, particularly at the "significant distress" end of the guidelines as it can be a very specific issue/ trigger that otherwise does not require medical support.

I've not seen any. If you were to have reliable and honest data about those unable to wear one even for a few minutes, or could not wear a face shield instead, I expect numbers would be very small.

Not one person when I was in Munich in September could not wear one on public transport at all. I cannot believe Germans health is that much better than ours.
