Covid headache...

Hi,

I got covid for the second time in June. I am 35 and usually fit and well. My only symptom this time round was a headache...that headache has now not gone for over 3 weeks. It is 24/7 and gets very severe in the evening and at night.

I have had a CT scan which came back normal and am now on a short course of steroid.

Has anyone else experienced symptoms like this that have lingered? Particularly a headache? How long did it last for you? It is greatly impacting my quality of life/working/ mumming to a 2 year old!

Thank you xx

Sorry to hear this, the headache is awful isn't it. I had a bad hangover headache every single day for a month but fortunately it was worse in the morning and a bit more faint the rest of the time. I then had night time nausea. It is difficult with a little one. Hopefully it won't last for too long for you. You are younger than I am.

Thank you for replying. I take a lot of comfort in just knowing someone else has had the same (mine is much worse in the evenings although there all the time). I'm more scared it just isn't going to go but I know that isn't very rational!

Oh how horrible for you. My only symptom was the headache and it’s horrible it’s so constant isn’t it. Luckily mine only lasted around 5 days.
Have you tried 4head relief? I know painkillers didn’t touch mine but a 4head stick was better than nothing.

My only symptom of Covid was a headache. It lasted a week, but wasn't severe.
