Covid timeline... when will my dd feel better?

DDs first symptom was on Wednesday, so this is day 5 and she's basically slept all day but had a bad night due to the cough.

Shes so far she's had a constant headache, sore throat and cough. Her temp has spiked a couple of times but paracetamol has brought it down.

Just wondering what the timeline is/was for you and what's to come potentially, is she likely to start feeling better soon?

How old is she? My DS’s only really felt bad on days 1-2 (unusually tired, headache and slight temp). Sore eyes day 4. Loss of taste came around day 6. Am pretty certain it’s the delta variant due to the sore eyes. They weren’t really that ill tbh but pretty much back normal now except the taste thing (now on days 9 and 6).

My DD 24 had it too. She was pretty rough bless her (not hospitalised). She was bed ridden for 3 days, and it took her a few weeks to get her full energy back. She also had a really foggy head. Just making a cup of tea was difficult to process. I’m still confused why we are not vaccinating kids (especially the medically vulnerable).

@Lemons1571 she's 12, also had sore eyes. She said it hurts her head when she moves her eyes in certain directions.

DS (he's 17) tested positive on Tuesday and was proper rough for a few days. Today is he pretty much better, apart from a bit of a cough and loss of taste and smell). I hope you DD starts feeling better soon xx

A friend's dd (17) has just recovered. Took 14 days.
