Posting for a friend

She had her AZ vaccine before all the stuff came out about clots and them caught pregnant. She is now 12 weeks- has known for about 5/6 weeks. She went to get her 2nd vaccine and was advised not to get the 2nd dose by the administrators and the pharmacist. She was told to wait until the pregnancy is over to have the second.

Is this what the current research suggests?

They told her she’s got some protection anyway so she shouldnt worry.

I am in the same situation and the government guidance and the advice from my GP is to get the second dose when you are due to have it. The best place to keep up to date and guidelines is www.rcog.org.uk/en/guidelines-research-services/coronavirus-covid-19-pregnancy-and-womens-health/covid-19-vaccines-and-pregnancy/
