Baffled by green list

Anyone else baffled and frustrated by the choice of countries on the green list? Germany has an incidence rate of 5.6 but is still on the amber list (compared to 250+ in the UK). I just hope this changes in the next review but I won’t hold my breath 😭

Surely the new changes won’t make any difference unless you’re not vaccinated?

Amber and green are all same come next Monday

Vaccinated can pretty much go anywhere in Europe

I’m not a UK resident though - don’t arrivals of non residents still have to quarantine?

And no I’m not fully vaccinated. Just desperate to visit my vaccinated family who I haven’t seen in a year and a half.

I think only if UK vaccinated to enter UK and EU vaccinated for EU.

As I understand I’m afraid that you are correct…it’s not a reciprocal arrangement,

Soemthing to do with the Border authorities in the UK only recognizing, or for technical reasons only being able to recognize, UK NHS vaccination certificates.
