No MHRA report today?

Has anyone else noticed that there’s been no weekly Covid vaccine side effects report today? Usually publishes every Thursday.

Bit anxious as I had my second AZ shot after a huge amount of soul searching and I was hoping for reassurance that the risk after second dose remains small. Right after my first dose they started acknowledging the AZ risk and it felt like a nightmare as it unfolded and I couldn’t undo the vaccine I’d just had. Dreading the same thing happening again.

Not being funny, but do the averages matter right now? You are not an average. You either feel ill or you don't. If you feel fine then maybe you're fine for now

Yes they really do matter to me. I got the first vaccine and then the data started emerging about the risk. I held out and got this second vaccine late in the hope that the data wouldn't do the same the second time around. So far it's been pretty steady. I got it this week and I'm desperate to see the report from this week as confirmation that the same thing isn't going to happen again. It was really scary.

I completely understand your concern but the timings of the uploading of the report have been really random, one week it wasn’t done until 7pm. Try and remember the cases for second doses have been tracking very low and remarkably steadily for the last few weeks and given that second doses were brought forward to eight weeks that will also include lots of people in younger age groups too so there is unlikely to be any significant rise. I understand your fear though as first time round it was really tough but this time they are so on the ball with cases that there shouldn’t be any big increase.
