PCR results in SW London - taking ages?

MIL tested 1st July (home test) and never heard back
Me and DD tested Sunday (home test also) and still not heard anything. All of us have stupidly thrown our barcodes away!

Are they just taking ages at the moment?

There was a thread about this last week. My walk-in took 20 hours, my postal PCR took 48 from the time the postbox was supposed to be emptied.

It's going round DC's school, and the PCR results (of friends that DC hear from directly) are taking less than 24 hours from postbox collection times.

Oh damn - mine is coming up to 72 hours from post box collection on Sunday and looks like MIL’s is never coming! She’s ordered a new one so looks like me and DD will have to test again too (and keep hold of our barcodes!)

Just to update anyone who sees this, I got mine back this morning so 4 days (or 88 hours to be precise!) there must just be a lag. Negative!
