So last week Gavin was telling us that phones should be banned from High Schools, and then yesterday he said as of September NHS track and trace will be dealing cases in schools and not teachers.

So how do they contact the child, when

A) Child does not have a phone,

B) phone will be on silent.

C) more importantly will school be able to demand children's phone numbers when they have parents phone numbers and do schools really want children's phone numbers, when they have no reason to have them anyway.

And yes I'm aware this is yet another non starter from Gav, who doesn't seem to know his Arse from his Elbow.

Also I agree that tracking and tracing cases with in schools need to be moved away from the already overworked school staff. From my own experience from my children's school we have had contract from the school very late at night, weekends and holidays. My DS has even said one of his teachers is doing this in class why also teaching the class.
