Isolation?

Why the 16 august date for removal of isolation? Wish I had booked a later holiday as will be stressing that dd will need to isolate if she comes into contact with someone at school or holiday club before our holiday at end July

There will be some sort of complicated scientific modelling underneath it working out the number of people jabbed from that date alongside other risk factors. I assume it's not a coincidence it's exactly 28 days after freedom day.
