What do we do? Two negative lateral flow test results and one positive

My daughter did three lateral flow tests this morning and one is positive.

I assume we have to ignore the two negative ones and all isolate until she has had a negative PCR result?

Will the negative PCR result mean we can stop isolating? I am unsure of current guidance.

Why did she do 3 in one day?

Yes, all isolate until you have the PCR result. The idea of LFTs is not to keep doing them until you get your desired result.

Not sure why she did that - apparently her friends are doing it. She did two at the same time and has now done the third one which came back smudged.

She wasn’t trying to get the desired result. She did two at the same time (not sure why) one of which was positive, and then the third one.

Did you watch her do it? That tiktok thing is full of teens making the tests turn positive with orange juice and shit so they get the time off school.

I do my kids for him, he just does the swab.

I don’t understand why she did 3 , but anyway isolate and book pcr because you have a positive tests the previous negative tests are irrelevant.

Did your daughter do all 3, as someone else pointed out, there’s many ways being shown on how to get a positive test from using orange/black currant squash etc
