Testing company for Amber country return

Can anyone recommend a reliable and fast testing company for the 2 and 8 day test and one that does the 5 day early release also? I’ve heard some are quicker/ better at processing than others. Also, do you post the tests or does a courier pick them up? Additionally, how do you get the results? We don’t have a UK mobile number -would this be a problem? Thanks in advance

We have used Randox Health. They guarantee next day results but that could be up to midnight the next day. However, the latest result we had was 7pm. Results are via email. They do all the tests you mentioned plus the pre travel PCR test. I think you can send the test via courier but we took ours to a Dropbox. They are scattered throughout the country. Our nearest one was 40 mins away. The pick up time for tests to be collected from that box was 5pm so as long as we dropped it off before then, results were guaranteed for the next day.

I used AlphaBiolabs, and they were super efficient, and cheaper than most. DHL delivered test box on day of arrival. Instructions were very clear and the whole process was easy. All I had to do was drop sample in a priority post box, which was just down the road from me. Plus let them know I had posted it. Got both emails and texts confirming receipt of notification, then receipt of sample, and then the result itself.
