Covid test positive or negative?

Both of my children have tested positive for covid this week 😢. Myself and husband have had both jabs so hoped we could avoid it. Today we have both developed a slightly runny nose so took a lateral flow test. Checked at 30 minutes. Both tests negative. Went off to take a phone call and when I came back 15 minutes later, there was a faint second line on both. Would you take this as a positive?

Teat again and post a pic on here at 30 mins

No. You're not supposed to check then after 30 mins.

I'd do another in a couple of days though, since your dc are positive. Hope they feel better soon.

I probably would yes given the circumstances. All my home tests have been a stark negative with no trace of a line no matter how much my mind tries to play tricks on me
I'm sure you will all be fine x

Yes, given that your DC have Covid and you and your DH both have runny noses (a common symptom of Covid in vaccinated people) common sense says you and your DH should treat as positive and get a PCR test. Hope you all feel better soon!

Agree with the PP - you both need a PCR test.
