Just wondering if anyone else has taken part in this?

DP got a positive test on Tuesday and yesterday I was invited to take part in this and put in the daily testing group. They've sent me a pack of tests but just wondering if it is just a normal pack of LFT's? I've got some in the house anyway so if there is nothing different about them then I could take my Day 1 test now even though the pack hasn't arrived?

Also did you really just go about your normal daily business? It feels scary when for so long the advise has been you must isolate! I'm happy to go for a walk/to the shops etc but it feels a bit iffy going to places like the gym? And I've been invited to a party on Saturday but not sure whether to go or not? Would just be interested to hear from others who may have taken part.

Not me but someone I know. They have to test each morning and, if negative, they submit their result and they can go out and about.

Also as an extra note, I am pretty confident that I don't have it now. DP most likely got it last Wednesday and only knew because he got a positive LFT on Sunday. I was with him Wednesday-Sunday and I've had a negative PCR yesterday, so you would have thought that would be positive by now! Also already done a couple of LFTs this week and all negative.
