NHS app not showing event trials pass

The NHS app has a link to click on for "Covid pass", and then two more options: Event trials and Travel.

When I click on Travel it shows me (correctly!) that I've had one dose of the AZ, but when I click on Event trials it just says I don't have a NHS Covid pass. Is this because I've only had one vaccination?

Does anyone else with one jab get anything different when you click on this in the app? I don't want to bother 119 if it's supposed to be like this!

I think the covid pass thing only works once you're two weeks past your second vaccine.

I've googled a bit and I think you're right, @UnaOfStormhold. But then why does the Travel pass bit work?

Weren’t some countries accepting you as fully vaxxed if you’d had Covid plus 1 vaccination? Maybe it’s because of that.

I went to Wimbledon this week and had to use the event pass to get in. I’ve had one jab and then had to have a negative LFT test and register it in the NHS app - once that was all done my event pass showed up and was valid for 48 hours.

The travel pass won't work though, it's correctly showing you've had one dose. To be able to use it to travel you need to have had your second dose.
