School isolations

I posted a little while ago but my son had to isolate due to someone in his class testing positive, I am a lone parent with 3 children at school so due to being a lone parent I had to keep all 3 off (school offered no help, fair enough. I don’t drive and school is 40 minutes walk away) anyway we’ve come to the end of our isolation and they can go back tomorrow BUT I had an email from the school saying daughters class now needs to isolate! Obviously she hasn’t been in so won’t apply to her but what would you expect in this situation? Would you expect the school to still have her in? As classes can’t mix or would you expect another 10 days off? Can’t ask the school as they are asking parents not to call.

In our school there would be noone available from your daughter's bubble to teach her so she would have to stay off. As she isn't actually isolating you could still take her on the school run so the others can go back though

Yes The others will be going back

This happened at our school & the child was told they must go back by law. A teacher who wasn’t isolating & was in school delivering the online lessons would supervise them. I expect it would be very strange for the children though without their peers in school. But better than online learning!

I would prefer her to go back tbh so I would be fine with that, she’s already missed enough school.
