What about primary school pupils?

There is talk in the Guardian today that ministers are planning to replace isolation of school bubbles with daily testing of contacts in secondary school. They are also talking about providing schools with lateral flow kits for children to take two tests on return to school in September.

So what’s the plan for primary school children. They’ve been exempt from lateral flow testing so far and it’s probably not feasible to do daily testing in younger ages. Are they stuck with self isolation? I’m so upset about this.

Try and not get upset about things that haven't been finalized yet.

I haven't seen anything that indicates primary school children will still have to isolate, I haven't actually seen anything definite that secondary children won't.

We have X1 of each, so announcements for both educational settings are of interest to this household.

I would wait for the announcement before I got worried and then I would wait until the day the schools go back or perhaps even a day or so later, to find out how its actually going to work.

I have one of each too. Best to just wait and see.
