Isolating

Someone in my sons class tested positive so he had to self isolate (I posted about it a little while back) I’m a lone parent so have had to keep all my children off as no one to do that school run (don’t want to debate that, I don’t have anyone to and there’s no way around that) now I have an email from my kids school saying that someone in my daughters class has tested positive and now we need to isolate AGAIN just after we was coming to the end of this isolation?! Will this apply to her if she hasn’t been in school since the 18th?! I’m finding the rules hard to keep up with tbh?

Your child will not need to reisolate, as she wasn’t exposed to it due to self isolating anyway . You will need to check with the school as to where she stands though - she can’t hop into other bubbles I imagine so it might be a case of online learning?

If she hasn't been at school to be in contact with the positive case then she doesn't need to isolate

Thank goodness I thought that would be the case! I think they will have her in.
