Post vaccine headache

Has anyone suffered from this and can tell me when it might end??
One week exactly after my vaccine I had a bit of a headache, it was a hot day and I presumed I hadn’t drunk enough. It was still there later that day, took some paracetamols and it seemed to go off a bit.
Four weeks later I still have it :( It’s not really bad, comes and goes. Sometimes it’s painful enough I have to sit down for a bit. Occasionally it makes me feel sick.
Spoken to drs who said it’s “really common and should go”, they did check me over and did bp etc but said nothing more they can do.

Did anyone have this and it got worse still after the second vaccine? Or did it finally go then?

I had a headache a week or so after my last vaccine but I didn't connect the two as I was having a horrendously stressful week at work and in life. It went after three weeks which coincided with my life calming down a bit (and me giving up drinking alcohol which I am sure wasn't helping) - it gradually got better and started later in the day until it just didn't start one day but it didn't stop me working etc.

I have just had my second vaccine (Friday) but my head is banging. I feel dizzy and disoriented- I just need to put my head down, paracetamol doesn't touch it. I was hoping it would be gone by tomorrow as I have a very busy week at work ahead but if it is going to go on like the headache from my last vaccine (which was nowhere near as bad as this, just prolonged) then I doubt I will be in all week. I feel dreadful.

What vaccine did you have? I’m 4 weeks post AZ and have had headaches on and off, more regular over the last week. Interested to hear others responses.

I had a fuzzy headache for 3 weeks after the first AZ. Second one had nothing for a week and then have had a fuzzy on and off headache all week (2 weeks post vaccination now 😪) hoping it subsides around 3 ish weeks again.

I had a headache for 3-4 weeks after AZ, I was beginning to feel quite anxious about it & then it finally went away around week 4.

My AZ headache lasted for 8 weeks after my first dose. My second dose is scheduled for next week. I really hope that it doesn’t happen again.

I had a terrible headache for 10 days after my AZ. I've never suffered with them before, I'm still having the odd one here and there. I won't be having my second jab.

Same.. Headaches off and on for around 8 weeks after 1st AZ, second jab 2 weeks ago and whilst I've had a slight tension headache during the first week it's definitely not has prominent has the headaches after the first jab.

Headaches for 8 weeks after my first AZ. Then suddenly got to 8 weeks and they vanished. After second jab I had a headache for 24 hours after then none since.

It just felt like my sinuses were very full and swollen for those 8 weeks.

@tellpaulwho...sounds virtually identical to my experience although I'm still getting the odd tiny twinge right between my eyes.

I have also had this, I'm about 6 weeks after AZ. It's getting less though, not every day like it was a couple of weeks ago so hopefully it'll wear off totally.
I didn't go to the GP as presumed there's nothing they could do.../

I regret having my second vaccine now - I still feel awful and am trying to work but I keep having to lie down. I feel sick and dizzy, my head is pounding.

I'm the same, I didn't make the connection till last week. I had my first vaccine in May and the headaches still haven't got better. I think I need to see the doctor

More (mild) headaches after AZ1 than I've had in my whole life. Nothing after AZ2.

I had nothing after AZ1 but headaches after AZ2. At first just frequent headaches but eventually a headache on one side that lasted 4 solid weeks t by at wouldn't go away with painkillers. I didn't go to GP and didn't make the connection with vaccine at first. Could still be coincidence.

I had a headache (I never get them) that started about 3 weeks after the AZ. Lasted about 2 weeks.
