Has anyone done a home PCR recently?

I did a home PCR on Thursday and sent it back then and it arrived at the lab the same day and still haven't had my results. Does anyone know how long they are taking at the moment?

Call 119 or whatever the COVID number is. My friend had this and her test had been processed but not attached to her details.

I did it on Wednesday. Got to lab that evening and I got my results yesterday afternoon. Negative

I had a look and it says not to call til day 6. I might do so if I don't get my results today though as I'm getting cabin fever and would like to go out if possible.

I called them up and they told me to call back tomorrow if it hadn't come. I really wanted to go out this afternoon

My home one took 48 hours from posting despite the fact I could see on RM tracking it arrived at the lab the day it was posted It was really annoying. Meanwhile my OH had a drive through one & got his in 18 hours! Won’t be doing postal again!

Sent my sons home kit test off on Wednesday and didn't get our results back u til Saturday evening and they wouldn't chase u til 5 days for us.
Negative. Waste of everyone's time.

Did one earlier this week. Posted on Monday, results back late on Tues. I know at least one of our big labs is having unspecified ‘delays’ though so maybe some batches are taking longer? Hope you hear soon at any rate.

My results finally arrived at half midnight last night. Negative thankfully.

Posted ours Friday, results this evening.
